The farm of 50,000 birds in battery cages for layers in Ghana is a successful chicken raising project that uses an advanced battery cage system to achieve efficient egg production and easy chicken raising.

The project is located in the central region of Ghana and covers an area of approximately 10 hectares and can accommodate 50,000 laying hens. The project started construction in May 2018 and was completed in March 2019. 

The project was constructed by livi poultry farming equipment supplier:

1. Construction of 105*15 meter chicken house

2. Production and installation of 395 sets of H-type layer battery cage system

3. Production and installation of automated systems: feeding, drinking water, egg collection, manure cleaning, etc.

4. Production and installation of automated environmental control system 

After the project of battery cage for layers for 50,000 Birds is completed, it produced about 10 million eggs every year, which can meet about 5% of Ghana's domestic egg demand. The project also provides employment opportunities for local farmers and promotes the development of the local economy.
